Tickets to Art with a Twist

This is a collaborative art-making FUNdraiser to help Art Corp. purchase a pottery wheel for the Art Room.

Step 1: Find a spot at a table with 3-5 other creative people (yes, that’s all of us!).

Step 2: There will be fun items such as: bottle caps, bread bag tabs, keyboard keys, interesting papers and magazines, game pieces (scrabble, puzzles, dice, etc.), old keys, charms, CDs, silk flowers, shells and other small natural things like acorns, driftwood, etc. Plus, paint, paint pens, Sharpies, and canvases or pieces of wood to create on. Feel free to bring your own unusual items to use and share if you have extras. (We would also absolutely love to accept donations of any of the above beforehand)

Step 3: Work on your own piece for about 20 minutes, and then pass it to the person next to you. They will work on it for 20 min. and then pass it to the person next to them. This continues until your piece is back with you where you can add finishing touches if you’d like.

You will leave with a fabulous piece of art for yourself, or to give as a gift. This is an excellent opportunity to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, relax, do some art, have fun, and be creative in community with other Fairhaven folks, all while helping a great cause!
